The Olympiad is an international event which promotes learning English language, challenges students around the globe to compete in English language knowledge and improves the co-operation between teachers. It is open to students 6 \u2013 19 years old from the whole world. The Olympiad will be run in three rounds: preliminary round, semi-final round and final round. The first round and the second round (10% of the highest scores from each participating test center in the first round) will be held within the students\u2019 country. Hippo Global Association will select the winners of the second round to participate in the final round in Lido di Jesolo (Venezia), Italy in May 2020.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Kangaroo International\u00a0Mathematics Competition<\/h3>

About<\/p>

Kangaroo Mathematics Competition is an international competition, in which 91 countries all over the world participate. This competition interested in focusing on the logical constructions of mathematics and building applied skills rather than knowing mathematical formulas and equations. This competition aims to help the transition from theories to practice.<\/p>

The competition was introduced in 1980 in Australia by mathematics teacher Peter Hallron; it succeeded tremendously as a national competition around Australia, and then it moved to France in 1991, and registered in its first version nearly 120 thousand students, in according to this success , 21 countries participated in the competition It was proposed to establish Kangaroo Without Borders. In 1995, the competition was officially registered in Paris, the Council was elected and the basic policies were legally approved. The number of countries that joined the competition increased to include countries in Asia, Africa and South America. Now the contest is over 6 million Student participate annually all over the world .<\/p>

Kangaroo International Mathematics Competition differs from other competitions in that it focuses on developing issues that require the development of creativity skills, critical analysis and problem solving and getting students to deal with mathematical issues from different aspects, thus developing students’ positive attitude in life.<\/p>

It is one of the largest international competitions in the English language. It is held in many countries of the world that use English as a second language and target students from grade 3 to grade 12.<\/span><\/p>

  • The competition \u201cInternational Kangaroo Science Contest\u201d is organized by the Kangourou Sans Fronti\u00e8res \u2013 Pakistan.<\/li>
  • At the very beginning of 21st century, the science teachers and other scientists realized the need to find some very effective way for bringing up the schoolchildren with an aptitude of a research scholar. In 2006 a number of well-known researchers and pedagogists from different parts of Europe and America got together in Saint Petersburg to discuss a much needed intelligent and attractive way of developing students\u2019 taste for science. This should also serve as very first concrete step towards research training for all schoolchildren. In this meeting the experts agreed that the most essential and basic character of a researcher is to be explorer and discoverer. Based upon this principle the participants of the Saint Petersburg meeting created the science contest which has different names such as \u201cExplore and discover\u201d, \u201cInternational Kangaroo Science Contest\u201d and other names in different countries. In 2008 1st such science contest was organized in Brazil, Czech Republic, Germany, France, Romania and Russia. After that a number of other countries from America, Asia and Europe joined the contest.<\/li><\/ul>

    CONTEST OVERVIEW :<\/h3>
    • The Contest is composed of just one test, no selection, no preliminary, no final test.
      \u2022 The Contest consists of Multiple Choice Questionnaire of twenty four to thirty questions, depending upon the level (grade) of the student.
      For each question a choice of five answers is provided. \u2022 All questions are worth 4 points.
      \u2022 There is a penalty of one point for each incorrect answer. If the question is left unanswered, it is worth 0 points.<\/li><\/ul>
